Shipping Policy
Last Updated: 5 October 2026
This Shipping Policy explains how delivery is arranged for products supplied by IOOI CONSULTATION.
Because IOOI supplies different industrial products, components, equipment and bulk quantities, shipping charges and delivery methods are assessed individually.
1. Shipping Quotation
Shipping fees are not fixed across all products.
Delivery charges depend on factors including:
- Product type
- Quantity ordered
- Weight and dimensions
- Number of units or devices
- Delivery destination
- Packing requirements
- Courier, freight or transport method
- Insurance requirements
- Urgent or special delivery requests
- Dangerous, fragile, oversized or controlled goods
- Unloading, installation or site-access requirements
Applicable shipping charges will be included in the quotation or confirmed separately before the order is accepted.
2. Delivery Locations
IOOI may arrange delivery within Penang and to other locations across Malaysia, subject to:
- Product availability
- Carrier coverage
- Delivery accessibility
- Product restrictions
- Agreed quotation terms
International shipping may be considered upon request and will be subject to separate freight, customs, tax, documentation and regulatory requirements.
3. Delivery Methods
Depending on the product and order size, delivery may be arranged through:
- Standard courier
- Local delivery service
- Pallet delivery
- Commercial freight
- Dedicated transport
- Supplier-direct delivery
- Customer-arranged collection
- Other agreed logistics arrangements
IOOI will select or propose an appropriate method based on the order requirements.
4. Delivery Time
Any delivery date or lead time is an estimate unless expressly guaranteed in writing.
Delivery timing may begin only after:
- Order confirmation
- Required payment or deposit
- Final specification approval
- Availability confirmation
- Completion of any customisation
- Receipt of required customer information
Delivery may be affected by suppliers, manufacturers, customs clearance, couriers, weather, transport disruption, public holidays or other events outside IOOI’s reasonable control.
5. Delivery Address and Access
Customers must provide a complete and accurate delivery address, contact person and phone number.
The customer must inform IOOI in advance of:
- Restricted delivery hours
- Security registration
- Loading-bay requirements
- Lift or floor access
- Site permits
- Unloading equipment
- Manpower requirements
- Other special site conditions
Additional charges caused by incorrect information, failed delivery, waiting time, re-delivery or special access may be charged to the customer.
6. Large, Heavy or Special Products
Large quantities, machinery, industrial devices, oversized products, chemicals or other special goods may require:
- Pallets or crates
- Specialised transport
- Tail-lift vehicles
- Forklift or crane access
- Special permits
- Dangerous-goods handling
- Additional insurance
- Site coordination
These requirements and related charges will be confirmed based on the order scope.
7. Delivery Inspection
Customers should inspect goods at the time of delivery.
Before signing the delivery documentation:
- Check the number of packages
- Inspect for visible external damage
- Confirm the product description where practicable
- Record visible damage or shortages
- Take photographs of any issue
Any visible damage or shortage should be reported to IOOI as soon as reasonably possible.
Do not discard packaging, labels or delivery documents while a claim is being reviewed.
8. Failed or Refused Delivery
If delivery cannot be completed because of incorrect information, unavailable recipients, restricted access or customer refusal, additional storage, return, waiting and re-delivery charges may apply.
Refusing delivery does not automatically cancel an accepted order or create a right to a refund.
9. Risk and Ownership
Risk in the goods will transfer according to the delivery or collection terms stated in the quotation, invoice or written agreement.
Ownership may remain with IOOI until full payment has been received, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
10. Customer Collection
Where self-collection is approved:
- Collection must be arranged in advance.
- The customer must use suitable transport.
- The customer is responsible for loading and securing the goods unless otherwise agreed.
- Identification or collection authorisation may be required.
11. Separate Shipments
Where an order contains multiple items, IOOI may deliver the products separately depending on availability, size, supplier and logistics requirements.
Any additional charges will be communicated where applicable.
